29/10/2020.  The Draft Neighbourhood Plan has just been published on our website and the Regulation 14 consultation will take place between 2 November and 14 December.  A newsletter is being distributed to every household to advertise the consultation with a copy of the questionnaire on the reverse.

30/6/2020  Despite the coronavirus lockdown development work has continued behind the scenes.  The Protected Views and Green Space Assessments have been finalised and published here. Open Plan has continued to produce draft Policy Statements from the Vision, Issues and Objectives work conducted by the NPG using shared conferencing on Zoom.  Normally a public consultation on the draft Policy Statements would take place at this stage, however this activity is not mandatory and with the continuing prohibition on assemblies, the NPG decided to to continue directly to the Draft Final Plan stage which will then be subject to compulsory public consultation.

10/1/2020  After considerable debate the Group have distilled the all evidence gathered over the past 18 months to draw up a set of themes upon which to draft our Vision Statement and Supporting Objectives.  These Objectives will in turn lead to the creation of a set of policy statements that will be at the core of the Neighbourhood Plan.

16/3/2019.  The Final Report of the Household Questionnaire has been published and can be found under the 'Questionnaires' Tab.

19/2/19.  All the questionnaire returns (both paper and on-line) have been passed to CommunityLincs for analysis and reporting.  A public meeting to discuss the results will be held on 13 March between 4:15pm and 6:45pm in the Sturton By Stow Village Hall. Tea and cakes will be provided. Should it not be possible to attend this event a second opportunity to discuss the results will be available during the monthly market in the Sturton By Stow Village on 6th April.

20/1/19.  Our household questionnaires have been released for distribution this weekend with a deadline for return of 4th February.  Collection boxes are located throughout the Sturton By Stow and Stow parishes.  Returns can also be completed on Survey Monkey where there is also a seperate questionnaire for businesses. A great big thanks to all the volunteers for offering to deliver the questionnaires.

26/11/18.  Our most recent public event has been our stand at the Stow Christmas Fair held in Stow Minster on 24th November.  Our attendance was very worthwhile with a lovely atmosphere in the church.  There were plenty of stall and a steady interest in our activities, several people reported seeing our roadside banner, so our message is getting through.

12/11/18.  At our meeting on the 12th we met with the team from Open Plan to initiate their support contract with the group.  While Open Plan will assist with the compilation of the Neighbourhood Profile the data gathering exercise will be undertaken by the Neighbourhood Planning Group in the form of a Walk/Drive - About.  The Walkabout will take place early in the New Year and we welcome as many of the local community to join us to compile an as accurate a picture of our neighbourhood as possible.  In the meantime, we will meet with Community Lincs to start compiling a Neighbourhood Survey to identify the issues (aspiriations and fears) that are of concern to our community residents and businesses.
